In math, we have been focusing on addition and subtraction stories. It is a much more difficult skill to hear a story and then make the numbers make sense, instead of just seeing an equation and solving it.
In science, we learned about different habitats and how every animal is adapted to live in its habitat. We also talked about our responsibility as humans to ensure that we are taking care of animals' habitats and not destroying them or littering them, as we share the earth together. For Makerspace time, we made marble mazes using clay, and the kids had a really fun time collaborating to design a maze, and then trying to solve it!
