We finished our fourth unit in math this week, and the kids should now be experts on teen numbers. Our next unit focuses on addition, subtraction, estimation, and math stories. During writing time, the kids used their imaginations to create something out of an abstract line. I loved watching their creativity soar, and it is exciting to see them grow in confidence with both their writing and drawing skills!
Srta. Wipper visited our room this week to read a book that talks about personal space. We all learned the best ways to avoiding making others uncomfortable by staying out of their space. I will be on the lookout for kids who remember to follow those rules next week!
