In math, we talked a lot about 2D shapes. I challenged the kids to find shapes in our classroom and to make shapes with their bodies. They used stencils to create scenes and objects using only shapes, and I was amazed by their creativity and flexibility! We also practiced 5-groups, graphing, telling math stories, and addition.
On Thursday, we had an art lesson with the district art teacher. It was fun to see the kids delve deeply into their creativity! In computers, they were able to explore more of the winter websites (found under the vocabulary tab on the ABC part of the site). We ended the week with the winter party, which was a blast - thank you to everyone who helped out!
