To help the kids organize their ideas, they learned how to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast things. They chose two animals and drew/wrote about their similarities and differences. It was so fun to be able to see their creativity at work! The letter of the week was the letter Yy, so the kids also learned more new vocabulary. We ended the week with a cute art project that used a combination of painting and cutting paper to create adorable snowmen!
Everyone in class has also been working hard on their reading skills. I am excited about their progress and their determination to continue to improve. Don't forget to check out Raz Kids so you can hear them practice at home! If you have any questions about how to use this resource, don't hestitate to ask me.
