We continued to explore the properties of paper this week, and we went to the Makerspace to try to make the longest paper chain possible from only one piece of paper. It was fun to see them rise to the challenge! We made some absolutely adorable penguins for art this week, and we learned all about birds as well. In math, we are continuing to focus on the number 10 and the teen numbers to build a strong foundation for their future math skills. We also used a new program called Splash Math to help build our math skills through technology. I sent home a paper on Thursday with login information if you'd like to use it at home. If you need another copy - please let me know!
