In math we worked on naming the numbers 6-10 with a focus on 6-9, it's amazing that students are excited to count to higher numbers as part of our routines! We also want to make sure they have a strong number sense with 0-10 and we have kept building on that by subitizing, counting, and making groups of 5 and 10. For fun this week students drew a cupcake as we spent time talking about different food groups and we spent more time seeing and learning about what seeds need to grow and how those seeds grow into many of the foods we eat.
