During our nature walk, we looked for items that have fall colors; oranges, reds, yellows, browns, and greens. The kids found leaves, sticks, pine cones, and flowers, among other things. After reviewing what we found, we learned a new word: naturaleza (nature).
We enjoyed our trip to the St. Louis Park Public Library. After singing and listening to stories with Miss Dana, each student chose two books to check out. Please return those books to the SLP Library (not PSI) after you enjoy reading them.
Tt was the letter of the week. The surprise activity was a drumming circle! Everyone got a chance to lead a rhythm on the beautiful drums in the music room. New vocabulary includes:
un tren (a train) un tiburón (a shark) un tigre (a tiger)
triángulo (triangle) una tortuga (a turtle) un tambor ( a drum)
tres (3) trece (13) treinta (30)
Thanks to those who were able to join us for the Fall Party!
