In math this week our focus was 2D and 3D shapes. The kids learned how to draw shapes, how to make them with clay, to find shapes in the natural world, to use geoboards to make shapes, and much more. Shape vocabulary:
We have been spending time each day practicing penmanship. We also finished writing our cartoneras, so all we have left is decorating the covers, and all of the kids will be published authors! The students will share their books with other students on Tuesday, June 4 at our Cartoneras celebration. They have worked carefully on their books, and the final products look great.
