Playing a new food game helped the kids to learn the phrases "Sí me gusta" and "No me gusta" (I like/I don't like). They then made a class book about the foods they like to eat. The kids enjoy looking at our growing collection of class books.
Our busy week ended with El día Verde (Green Day). Face painting and thinking of lots of things that are green were highlights of the day.
On Wednesday, we enjoyed watching the 2nd - 5th grade students involved in Baile Folklórico share traditional dances from Spanish-speaking countries around the world.

Click here for details about this magical event on Tuesday, December 11.
Friday, December 21st
1:30pm - 2:45pm
The kids will be playing in the snow (or making a craft if there is no snow), eating a snack, and watching a wordless movie called "The Snowman" while enjoying hot chocolate. Please watch for an email from our room parents to sign up to help out at the party. Everyone is welcome to attend!
In order to have all 21 classrooms participate we will need about $800 in donations, which would be $1-2 per student. Donations will go towards the supplies needed: bread, meat, cheese, and baggies.
If you would like to make a larger donation, please click the link below.
