*Talleres (loosely translated as workshops) is a weekly tradition with Sra. Lindsey's class. The purpose of talleres is to provide the students with opportunities that they may or may not have had, and that they will enjoy. This will range from cooking to building snow forts to art projects, and more! This week, the children were able to choose from blowing bubbles and playing outside with Sra. Rodriguez, watercolor painting with Sra. Lindsey, or a drawing lesson with me.
We did the first two of many drawing lessons to come. Last week we read the story ¡No David! and then we drew David. This week we drew osos (bears) as part of our focus on the letter Oo. Enjoy the photos!

I sent a letter home in your child's folder on Friday about our "Who is Special" project. The purpose of this project is that all students be able to share something about themselves with the class. It is a great way to continue to build our classroom community. As you finish the projects, please send them with your child to school. We will have an English-speaking teacher share the projects with the class. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
