On Wednesday, we sorted pictures by letter sounds, did abc puzzles, and wrote letters.
In math, we practiced writing the numbers, tried out a new math app, and worked on sharpening our subitizing skills - the ability to see a small number of objects and know how many there are without counting. For example, four dots in a square, such as on a die, are always four. This is a concept that strengthens students' math skills. We will work on this in a variety of ways throughout the year.
